Founded in 2024 by Matthew Koranda, Gray Renovations transforms the way homeowners experience their spaces. Blending expert handyman services with hands on education, we empower clients to understand, maintain, and elevate their homes with confidence.
Every project is a partnership, where precision craftsmanship meets practical guidance, ensuring spaces are not only beautifully maintained but also a source of lasting knowledge and independence. At Gray Renovations, we do not just improve homes; we cultivate informed, empowered homeowners.
At Gray Renovations, every project is guided by my hands-on experience and genuine passion for helping homeowners care for their spaces. I’m Matthew Koranda, a craftsman who has spent my career immersed in the construction and remodeling industry refining skills across framing, finish carpentry, tile, painting, plumbing, and electrical work. Over the years, I’ve learned that great craftsmanship isn’t just about tools and materials; it’s about listening, solving problems, and treating every home as if it were my own.
Before founding Gray Renovations, I led Koranda Remodeling, where I managed everything from small home repairs to full renovations. That experience taught me the importance of clear communication, quality workmanship, and attention to detail, values I carry into every service today.
Through Gray Renovations, my goal is simple: to provide homeowners with reliable, skilled, and trustworthy help for the projects that keep their homes looking and functioning their best. Whether it’s a simple repair, a detailed restoration, or guidance on home maintenance, I take pride in making sure the work is done right and that every client feels confident in the care their home receives.

“I have seen hundreds of handymen bring lots of tools and materials to jobsites. Matt is one of the few who has a clear visual of materials and what needs to be done and did the project within reasonable time.”Harvey - 10/17/2025
“Matt gives me peace of mind for my out-of-state rental, taking care of smaller things like modernizing locks or handling tenant questions to more serious work, like replacing an exterior door, and coordinating a tree removal in the yard with neighbors. With his extensive background I can trust that whatever comes up will be taken care of with expert judgment and effectiveness.”Mark - 12/2/2024
